My name is Teresa Spires

I have been doing personal portraiture for more than 10 years. I have loved photography since I was in high school. I would often take pictures at friends' parties and soon became their "personal photographer." I also became tired of the monotonous photos/poses that came from the "in-store" photography studios. I was often very disappointed by these studios and the non-caring attitude of the "photographers" employed there and knew I could bring a fresh new "look and feel" to the field of portrait photography.

How I Started Out...

Several of my friends were getting married and often asked me to photograph their weddings, so off I went! I had so many compliments from them and after hearing "You should really become a photographer," for many years, I decided to do just that!

I enrolled in the Photography Certificate program at Midlands Tech, and then started my company, Photosolutions of SC. Business sky-rocketed the first couple of years, and I knew I was headed in the right direction. I then decided that I wanted to be different than any other photographer and asked myself, "What can I give to my clients that no one else will give to theirs?" The answer came easy...."More!"
